_{안녕하세요. @thisisoh 패밀리의 April입니다. 그 동안 안녕하셨나요? 시간이 흘러 어느덧 저도 임신 14주차에 접어들었고, 개월 수로 치면 3개월 반이 되었네요. 3개월이 지나면 안정기라고 하던데, 마치 마법처럼 몸이 아기에게 적응을 하고, 입덧도 많이 줄었어요. 오늘 아침에도 주치의 만나서 간단한 진찰도 받고, 지난 주에는 12주차에 받았던 기형아 검사 결과를 받았어요. 모두 정상이고, 산모와 아기가 건강하다고 하네요. 짝짝짝 ! 우리 아복칻오🥑가 걱정을 많이 안시켜줘서 너무 고마워요. 10주차 부터 인가 갑자기 배도 쑥 나와서, 제법 동산이 생겼어요.}

_{오늘일기에는 그동안 임산부로서 캐나다에서 임신 초기 3개월 동안 진찰 받았던 스케쥴을 간략하게 메모해 두려고해요. 저는 캐나다에서 아직 외국인이지만, 합법적으로 일할 수 있는 비자가 있기에, 그 기간동안 정부의 건강보험에 가입되어 있는 경우이고, 살고 계신 지역이나 상황에 따라 다른 절차와 방법으로 진료가 진행 될수 있으니, 보시는 분들은 간단히 '참고'만 해주세요^^ 잘 적어두면, 둘째 생겼을 때, 스스로도 도움이 될 것 같아서 잘 정리해 두려구요.}

_8주	_{주치의와 초음파 검사결과 상담 @ 패밀리클리닉 (예약필수)}	_{혈액 검사 결과는 정상. 소변검사는 무슨 박테리아가 있다해서, 재검사. 아직 초음파 결과지가 안왔다고 해서 다음주에 다시 예약. 이틀후, 전화로 소변검사 결과가 정상이라고 알려줌.}

_12주	_{1. 기형아 초음파 검사 @ 지정된 정밀초음파 검사소 (예약필수) 2. 혈액검사 @ 패밀리 클리닉}	_{꽤 오랫동안 검사가 진행됬고, 마지막에 남편도 같이 애기 손,발, 척추, 얼굴 등을 같이 봄. 다행히 이번에 피를 1통만 뽑아감.}

_{정리해 놓고 보니, 임산부 진료 스케줄이 꽤 빡세보이네요. 한국이랑 많이 달랐던 점은, 한국은 산부인과에 가서 초음파 검사와 진료가 함께 이루어지고, 초기에는 거의 2주마다 초음파를 찍는다고 한다고 하던데, 캐나다는 각 검사소와 주치의의 역할이 나뉘어져 있어서, 여러 장소를 왔다갔다 해야하고, 초음파 찍는 횟수도 적었어요. 6개월 이후 부터라야 산부의과 전문의를 만나 출산까지 진료를 해준다는 점도 달랐구요.
보기엔 복잡해 보이는데, 나름 잘 역할분담이 되어 있어서, 아직까진 크게 불편하지는 않았구요. 건강보험 덕분에 이 모든 검사들이 무료라는 것도 장점인 것 같네요. 그리고, 대부분 의료진과 간호사는 친절한 편이 였어요. 캐나다에서 자녀계획이 있으시다면, 안 아파도 미리미리 좋은 주치의를 선택해 놓는 것이 좋을 것 같아요.}

_{Hello, everyone. This is April from the Oh family. Today marks 14 weeks and 5 days of my pregnancy. Time flies! I am feeling much better as I enter the second trimester. The fatigue and morning sickness are fading. I got the result for the genetic test last week and it was negative, which means everything is fine. I thank Avocadoh🥑 for being healthy. My belly suddenly started showing from week 10 and now it is pretty visible.}

_{I would like to post about my prenatal schedule during my first trimester in Canada. I hope this timetable would be helpful for others who plan on having a baby in Canada and also myself in case of having a second baby in the future. However, please just refer this case for who has a valid health card in Canada. The procedure could be different depending on the region and occasion.}

_{Overall, there are differences for the prenatal schedule between Korea and Canada. In Korea, pregnant women would meet only one obstetrician-gynecologist until they give birth as long as they are satisfied with that doctor, and all facilities are at one places. That is why they scan the baby pretty often like every 2 weeks for early stage. On the other hand, family doctor, ob-gyn and ultrasound scanning facility has their own roles in Canadian health system, so I needed to go to several facilities in different location. That is why I took ultrasound scanning in different place and needed to get the result from family doctor later on, also I got an ultrasound just 2 times during the first trimester which is much less frequent than in Korea. This system seems a little complicated, but it was organized and the doctors and nurses were very nice to the patients (generally). Also it is free of charge! (Love the healthcare!)}
