And their unborn baby.

The application sizes only 0.6MB and displays no advertising. I hope it can be useful to many people.

History

Shortly before the birth of my daughter, I had the idea that many others had before me: write an application to record labor contractions. Several applications for Android already existed so I did not develop my app. For us, a such application would have been useless because during the hours preceding the delivery, the monitoring was done professionally in the hospital.

A few months after the birth of my daughter, my UI designer colleague also had a daughter. Arriving at the office after his holiday, he says they needed such an application for the iPhone. Very few existed, were expensive or full of advertising.
He proposed to the iOS developer and me to do design of the app if we decided to program the application. This motivated me and I started writing Contractions. My colleague advised me well but the iOS developer was not very interested and did not develop the application for the iPhone.

I stopped the development after a few months. The application was already well advanced. I interrupted my personal software development projects for almost 2 years. I resumed them by publishing Coins, which lists the cryptocurrencies and their price, using the free API of Coinmarketcap.com.

Recently, I reopened the project Contractions. The last modified file was 3 years old. Quickly, I removed the features that were not completely developed, fixed the bugs, drew an icon and published. A lot of similar apps have been released in the meantime. Posted on March 10, the application has been downloaded 5 times on Google Play only. There the visibility is null and the application does not appear in the 250 results of a research. Samsung Apps has become a more attractive app store for smaller apps. There, "Contractions" has been downloaded 65 times.

It's really a good application

It is reliable. The data can be sent by email. The statistics are detailed. A note can be added to each record. Editing and adding is easy.

Contractions does not communicate over the Internet and does not store or transmit any user data. The only permission needed is for keeping the screen on.

Try it!
