Update! Is our city now is safe from terrorist threat?

It is now 3rd day after the end of Ramadan or Eid'l Ftr since humors have spread that local terrorist will bomb and attack our city. Monday, at that very day is the end of Ramadan for our Muslims brother and sister, we know that it is not the same of what they have before in celebrating the end because they are far away from their homes, many are in the evacuation center because the war in their home town Marawi City is at war by the government troops who depending the town from the local terrorist the Maute group. Many innocent civilian lives have lost, they were killed by the Maute terrorist. Now the military troops do their best to end this war but still couldn't penetrate the last defense of Maute for they are in a very good position.

But whatever it happens this will end and our Muslim brothers and sister will go home and with Allah's help I know they will rise and up again.

Hope this time will come soon.

Tuesday classes resume and this is what we saw...

This right side of the street in the school used to be so busy and crowded with the parents walk their kids to school, and cars park but now I was amazed seeing this empty street.

Here is the school entrance gate, before students and parents was the cause of too much traffic but now only are few go to school for other parents afraid to let their children went to school because they say schools will be the target of the terrorist.

Left side of the street when regular school days you can't see the end of the street for parents and students passing through went and arriving to school but now, seems like only few who was left behind is the one who went to school. They are brave enough though feeling scared and confused but still went to school for they don't declared holidays even the humors spread around. And one of those braved enough is Us me and my kid went to school aheem do i feel a little bit scared we go, and when I noticed it's seems quite why not go to school.

I took this photo while riding passenger Jeep. This is our bus terminal just a side of the entrance. When going to school we can pass by our bus terminal. As you can see it's busy, ooh sorry it's empty!

Before the threat happen this is one of the busy place of the day. Arrivals and people who used to be going and out in the entrance are passing by each other. But since Monday or even the day before when the news spread most people already gone and left the city. Arriving bus to Iligan from other city if not 4-5 person is present it's empty. Maybe they are afraid going to Iligan since news already scattered to nearby town, and many are leaving and we are one of those who are left behind.

Now, it's been 3 days and still we thank God it's quite well. But the neighboring town from lanao del Norte most of their Muslim woman's have evacuated for alarming news have also spread and that's what we are still vigilant about. We still don't know what will happen.

We stand in our faith and God won't let bad happen to his people.

We are hoping and wanted to help those who are in evacuation center but we don't have the capacity, what we can help and over is the prayers that the war will end and peace be done.
