Our focus is on building one another wherever we may roam online. These daily rally upvote posts is one of many regular support systems which we have in place. Wednesday Walk - A wander through someone's yard last week
Before anyone asks, I supposed I should explain my title a bit - yes, I did wander with my camera though someone's yard last week, but I had permission to be there! 😂 The longer story - our eldest has been doing some work as a pet sitter and home caretaker over the past couple of years. One of the few silver linings to hubby being out of work this past month, is that he's been able to help her out by driving over to places with things she's needed, or in this case, to pick up some of her stuff as she got ready to leave. Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity to ride shotgun, and since I was having a mild tremor day, I couldn't resist snapping a few million shots as I wandered a bit outside while we were there.
WE HOPE THAT HIGHLIGHTING THIS POST, BRINGS IT THE SUPPORT IT DESERVES!

I read about your husband and your son and you are all in our prayers.
With regards to your tremors that we call "shakes" over here, I have also lately developed some shakes due to the handful of pills I have to take every day, but I overcome this by steadying my hand against the nearest tree or any other object when I shoot with my camera.
Life goes on and all strength yo you Lady Traci.

Oh, I LOVE seagulls! They've had a special place in my heart since I was young. Thank you so much for sharing this with me, Sir Stephen! I'm sorry to hear you've also become a "mover & shaker" because of your meds, but glad you've found a workaround when taking pictures. I do much the same thing, as well as taking & releasing a deep breath, then sort of holding my breath for a moment while I snap away. I wish you good health going forward, and thank you again for sharing this beautiful capture! 😊 💜

The problem that I have with the shakes is that I am not used to it and at times it puts me into mood swings.
It's all new to me and I already have to cope with a bad leg (bike accident) and other problems. At times it just feels as if I am being overloaded by life in an attempt to restore my old high stress levels.
The good thing though is that I absolutely refuse to entertain any stressful thoughts.
It almost killed me and so it is so much better to just cruise through life.

Oh, dear man, I can so relate to what you're saying. It's coming up on the two year anniversary of the last time I was able to drive a car (other than moving it out of the way in the driveway), and when I stop to think about it, it's hard not to give in to despair. When that happens, I remind myself of the stories I've heard from other people with ET & other neurological disorders, and give thanks to the powers that be that I'm still able to do so many things, and have much to be grateful for. Keeping you in my thoughts, Sir Stephen.
Yes, my love for seagulls started when my mother bought me the book, Jonathan Livingston Seagull at some point in the early 70s. Since I grew up in a fishing community, I used to imagine Jonathan was always somewhere nearby. 😊
