The Road to Discussions 2.0
Hi peeps!
Discussions 2.0 aims to be the Home of Tokens Communities!🙌
👀Take a look at this Roadmap, some of the new additions the Team has made are:
Unified ID.
One of the first majority feature we’re introducing is that of the Unified ID.
Like many other EOS Dapps before, using Discussions meant you needed an EOS account, which for the uninitiated, can be difficult and time consuming to set up and maintain.
With Unified ID, a user can generate a simple account and get started in less than three minutes.
With Multi-Chain support built-in, Unified ID will allow users to hold token balance on any supported blockchain. Maintain your token portfolio with one simple ID.
WebWallet.
In addition to Unified ID, we’re also introducing WebWallet, an online wallet for signing transaction with Unified ID.
With WebWallet, users no longer have to install and manage dedicated software just to interact with Discussions. No more signing transaction for posting or simple voting.
User Page and Token Portfolio.
While Discussions had a User Profile in the past, it only displayed basic information and customization was very limited.
With this new update, we are opening up the blog feature which allows users to post updates about anything they would like their follower to know.
Under the Delegated Moderator System, they’ll by default become the Delegate Moderator of their own page. This gives the user the ability to hide posts or make it so that a post has to be approved before it is shown on their Page.
In addition to Posts, followers of a Page will be able to see the user’s other social media accounts as well as their connected Blockchain accounts.
Social media accounts and supported blockchain addresses/accounts can be connected via the settings page.

Also the Airdrop Tool just went live!
These new additions will make the user experience of Discussions a much more fluid, and pleasant one.
He best feature of this will be the anon posting functionality. I hope that is still a thing. That way we can get a crypto based alternative to 4chan.
