I invite you to interact with everyone, learn, and have as much fun as possible!
For my returning online friends, "It's always great to see you again!"
I just read a wonderful post by @frejafri.
In her well written and entertaining post, she chronicles the current status of their fascinating community and its nascent compound - complete with some cool images of people and fledgling living quarters.

I didn't see a pile of old wood remnants from the renovation.
That and some surrounding subterra mycelium is the beginning of a super-fast compost pile and/or the foundation for a nice outdoor gourmet mushroom farm.
Rains?
We just had some heavy rain last night.
Here's a picture from 5 minutes ago of some nice new Trametes Versicolor (Turkey Tail) and Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum) growing on a pile of mango tree logs in my back yard.
When made into tea or tincture, Turkey Tail and Reishi has been proven to provide a host of health benefits that include: immune strength, leveling of BP and insulin, prevention of certain cancers, suppression of cancer treatment's anorexia and depression, and much more.

For me, mushroom cultivation is fascinating, fun, and much more convenient than foraging.
Think of this.
The low maintenance (set it and forget it) outdoor cultivation method is easy and would benefit the group nutritionally, medicinally, and financially.

Just saying...(and probably too much by now, no?).
Really enjoyed your post.
May you and yours be well and love life today.

Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an AA, BS and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic.
In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he performed high altitude, free-fall parachute jumps and hazardous diving ops in deep, open ocean water.
After 24 years of active duty, he retired in Asia.
Since then, he's been a full-time, single papa and actively pursuing his varied passions (Writing, Disruptive Technology, Computer Science and Cryptocurrency - plus more hobbies too boring or bizarre for most folk).
He lives on an island paradise with his teenage daughter, longtime girlfriend and three dogs.

Thank you!! YES; mushroom cultivation is something I really want to get into! Wish you could come and gve us a small course ;D Actually my father is kind of a mushroom expert, so I should get him out also. It's just to get the mycelium and get started, but there are so many other things - but thanks for pushing me in the direction! <3 That's definitely the way to go!
I love the rain, I also love Rumi, but I love a great story best
