The test is interesting, especially to take after an intense confrontation last night (with my autistic son). I could fill in 4 for every orange box and 4 for every green box. A lot can happen in the course of even only 12 hours!

You are so right about allowing negative feelings to exist. The trick is to integrate them. For this you either need a lot of loving support or a lot of life-experience and some greater faith (in yourself) to fall back on.

A positive attitude really is a matter of training and maintaining a balance. This is a daily challenge and can be fun once you know how to approach it.
