Happy Saturday Steemians!

My photo catalog is like a garden that constantly needs watering, weeding and tending to. Saturday's prompt for street photography and portrait photography by @juliank has me organizing and reminiscing while selecting images to enter.

The portrait below is of the proprietor of the Casa Celeste bed and breakfast in Positano, Italy. At the time of this photo she is 87 years old and full of energy. This ritual of preparing breakfast for her guests from around the world was approached with pride and skill. Her jams were homemade, the fruit and bread fresh with each new day and the espresso, served piping hot is still in my dreams. I'll write more about this trip to the Amalfi coast in a follow up blog post, it is a place that has won my heart.
