Martin's Portrait Photography #8 - The storyteller of Usaquen, Colombia

In Northern Bogota, you will find Parque de Usaquen. The surrounding area is just perfect for tourists filled with good restaurants, pubs and souvenirs booths everywhere. In the park, generally on Sundays, you may find great storytellers. If you have a good level of Spanish you will get to laugh, get a lesson or get thrilled with a story. This is one of the most visible storytellers in Usaquen.

He asked me: "Do you remember the happiest moment of your life?". I paused for a few seconds, but he instantly started to talk about his moment. He said he worked in agriculture since he was six. After that, a number of years he worked in construction. 15 years ago he retired, but instead of sitting on a bench all day long he decided to go to school, which he never really had done before. It took him 8 years to get through middle school, but he finished with a 8.9 out of 10. Now he's moving on to study for more, anything that he is passionate about. The greatest joy in life comes from education and learning. Inspiring man. This reminds me of a famous quote:
