How do you overcome nervousness?
As a photographer my day to day includes taking photos. I take landscapes, macros, night photos, etc. with no hesitation or worry. However when I'm set up to do people or pet photoshoots I always get super nervous before hand. That immediate feeling of inadequacy comes over me and I wonder "what if my photos aren't good enough"
Do you ever have this problem?
What do you do to help it?
I'd like to have a nice commentary on here with tips to help the case of nerves. Not just for myself but for anyone who needs some support. Thank you all!
I have the same problem with people portraits. I feel that most people get uncomfortable getting photographed and that energy comes through to the photographer. I prefer just doing candid shot of people. Catching them off guard and unaware.
Animals are a different story. I love to photograph them. They usually don't care. I could photograph them all day.
