Portrait Contest Week 28: MOTION
Hi there fellow steemians, here is an entry for the Steemit Portrait Photography Contest Week 28 - Theme "Motion", organised and run by @jasonrussell
Good luck to all entrants. 😸
I so very seldom use a flash for lighting in the streets, usually favouring high iso and restricted shutter speeds and wider apertures. However if I want to capture a sense of motion, one of my favourite techniques is to use a slow shutter speed for the blurred motion look, but along with a forced flash to freeze the image as well, thus giving the combined look of blur and sharp imagery in the same frame.

I hope you like the effect and enjoy the photograph.

Very cool!
Thanks @jasonrussell, pleased you like it. I love conveying movement and I've enjoyed working with this technique more over the past year. I'll pop another in soon. 🌝
