Steemit Portrait Photography Contest Week 80 — Bokeh — Entry 2 — Željko
In the previous entry of portrait contest with bokeh theme, I have sent an example of a slow lens bokeh, which have a nice rendition and allows to recognize elements of the background. But what if the background is so distracting that it can ruin the portrait itself?
The best way is going long lens with fast aperture. There is one small problem with this set-up — it’s not cheap! You can find shorter “portrait” lenses with even faster aperture for a little less money, but they won’t have that multirole function as, for example, Sigma EX 70-200mm f2.8 APO DG HSM, or any other high quality professional zoom lens. Here’s how Sigma can blur distracting busy street behind the model:
Category / Категорија | Bokeh |
Settings / Поставке | ISO400, @200mm, 1/8000 sec, f2.8, -4 EV |
Camera / Камера | Nikon D70S |
Lens / Објектив | Sigma EX 70-200mm f2.8 APO DG HSM |
Location / Локација | Smederevo, Serbia |
