Next week #54 and continue good tradition for short reviews.
Little later this week, but better later than never... so here we go

Just to begin, the theme for a contest "MUSIC" could be considered straight forward as a portraits of people wit a musical instruments. And so were quite a number of entries like this.
Sorry guys and girls, I'm always looking in photos something more than just a simple click of your camera. Not saying that those are bad or something, but more art is warmly welcome.
Go out from your comfort zone, create something not usual...

1st place by @barbarabezina

Have to admit normally wouldn't make same author a winner two weeks in row, but really couldn't do anything and resist...
Just love this kind of photography with some mystic motion blur. It just pushes your mind to work a bit harder trying to understand what's going on there, creating own thoughts and feelings
Perfect black and white conversion and real feel of "music", like you DO HEAR it. Well, at least I DO :D

2nd place by @njphotog

Perfect composition and wide open aperture keeping in focus only fingers in foreground while face remains hidden behind the strings and quite strongly blurred.
Very right decision to bring firstly emotional part. You really sinking into this photo listening to the music together with a player

3rd place by @publicumaurora

And again, just a perfect model play. A lot of emotions, you just can feel the notes.. and the smoke. Black and white conversion fits very well making the smoke almost alive and dancing around :)

HM by @ajanphoto

Well, here is less emotions, pretty straight forward composition, but very nice and symmetrical. What I liked here actually the lightning set-up. Well done

Fine example of street photography. Nice lines of the floor provides some more dynamics. Pretty unusual colorful background is a big advantage as well

HM by @fotostef

Good studio light, very nice emotion of the player. Overall eye catching image

Reflections are my true passion in photography. If I have a chance to employ a reflection, I always do it, either it is seascape or portraitphotography.
Don't forget this trick, reflections always making photo much more interesting if well composed. And here is the case. Simple, but good :)
