Steemit Portrait Photography Contest Week 50 - Judge's review

Lets continue the review, so maybe become good tradition.. who knows :)

The idea for such kind of portrait maybe not new, but here is so well executed. We do see true "bandito". Perfectly caught emotion, amazing light and great b&w conversion as well. Very well deserved, just an eye catcher

And again, eyes are the mirror of the soul. What do you see looking into those eyes? Well, everybody do see different things, but for sure those eyes are story telling and full of emotion. Great model with freckles and good softer light

Great example of so called Rembrandt light. The light just wraps the model, which is wrapped to some kind of cardigan (or whatever) with very nice fiber structure.
I have chosen second photo from the series where it is more visible. It really adds some more storytelling to this calm, but still quite emotional portrait

Oh well, this is in fact mine photo, but the model itself really deserves to be at least mentioned. She presents very powerful emotion combined with nice colors combination

Pretty simple but still catching the eye portrait here. Soft natural light and a lot of self confidence from the model. A bit of nice bokeh we can see as well. And yes, again eye contact - it does matter!

We really do need still a bit of glamour in between overall more artistic photos. So here we go. Very well done black and white glamour shot. Nice compositional lines and very well employed reflection from the glasses.

Pity there are only 3 winners. That one should be definitely in the list, but that's life, maybe with next one? :)
Backlit photos are not so easy and here we do have proper exposure with very nice shadow tones on the face. Great emotional part and very well used lightened flower as well.
