Population in the India and world. Serious subject to worry about.
Hello friends,
My today's post is about population. 11 July was World Population day and i had gone through some interesting facts about India and world as well which I have shared below.
United Nations General Assembly declared 11 July 1989 as world population day. Its been celebrated every year on 11 July thereafter and each year come with a new slogan. This year slogan was Planning is a Human Right
- World population was 100 crore in the year 1804 which turned to 300 Crore in 1960 and it was 600 crore in year 2000.
- Each second 24 child born and 2 die out of them. As per the survey by 2050 75% of the population will be living in cities.
- Now world's population is 760 crore and counting.
- India is in 2nd rank in terms of world population where China is on top but 2025-50 its expected that India will beat china and reach on top.
- In the world currently 180 crore people are between 10 to 24 years old and 52% people across the world are less than 30 years old.
India's population growing rapidly and its scary and since our resources are limited. If we continues to grow at the same speed then that day not too far when we will loose our freedom. Our roads will have no space for vehicles and even the current scenario is worst. Overpopulation of an area will lead to reduce natural resources and environmental worsening. There are many things will happen gradually if we don'Curelyt take this problem seriously-
- Lack of Job and employment
- Democracy Manipulation
- Poverty
- Reduction in per capita Income
- Increase in crime rate
- Traffic
- Sanitation etc etc
Currently India's population is 134 crore and see below table for increase from 2000 to 2017. in the span of 17 years we reached from 100 crore to 135 crore which is very serious point to think about.
Now people will say that Govt is not doing anything but my dear friends this change will start from us not from the govt side. Our future will be more like shown in below photo-
If you dont want to see our future like this then must control the population and change starts from you. Its not the time when we used to say HUM DO AUR HAMARE DO instead its time to say HUM DO AUR HAMARA EK.
I am not saying that everybody is not contributing to this changes, in fact if we look at metro cities then most of the people are okay with one or two kids only. But its needed to aware the people who live in rural area and don't know about family planning.
I invite all you to share your valuable suggestions which will help people to understand it in better .
Have a great time.
