Fairview - Where Upgoat's are born!

What I love about Cape Town and the surrounding areas is that there are sooo many little gems to discover. One of these, where I believe the original Upgoat came from, is Fairview. A beautiful little farm lying on the outskirts of Paarl, about 45 minutes drive from Cape Town.
Following the international trend of Goat Yoga... yep, that's right, Goat Yoga, Fairview is the first in Africa to offer this form of exercise.
So here's what they do...
We didn't give that a go however we were able to go into the pen with some of the young and upcoming upgoaters, for free!
That's right, FREE. No charge, nadda, nothing :):)
It was an amazing little experience which we all enjoyed, not just the little monsters.
So what else does Fairview have to offer?
Well, besides friendly Upgoats, cheese, wine plus tastings (wine, cheese, wine & cheese pairing), a cool looking bike, great deli, Goat shed restaurant, beautiful scenery, outdoors, a dam supposedly with crocodiles in, goat yoga, duck liver pate, goat tower, massive khoi fish (which actually used to be a buddy of mine's), happy kids and memories to last a lifetime... not much ;)

I love the Gif's that you add onto the pics - how do you do that?
Yeah, the Gif's are quite easy to make. I use Giphy.com. if it's a video that I turn into a Gif, it's a little more tricky. I need to cut the part I want first. For this I use VSDC Video Editor. Both are free to use :)
I was more referring to the animated inlays on stagnant pics...

Yeah, it was really a super experience :):) The kids loved it, the Goat Shed's food looked fantastic (not just cheeses) and well priced :)
These hidden gems are quite something to find, that goats cheese looks good and I am sure being the Cape the wine was superb @therneau

Lol, yeah. Goat yoga... not really for me either however it's an interesting concept :) Well, we didn't try their wine however I see they have a few awards under the belt. Nice to hear from you again :)
Haha this was a fabulous post , Love the upgoats myself ! LOL! I definitely "dig it "and your awesome little videos and photos ! We had goats years ago out at my boyfriends place but as soon as they ate all my newly planted flowers and various tomato and pepper plants , they had to Go !! Very cute but they can be rascals !! Hahaha ! They certainly are !! Quite often they would also climb up the wood pile onto the top of my sons Camper he was staying in , LOL and walk on top of it ! It was so funny , but not good !! 🐐🐐🐐🐐Very Bad !!😂😂😂🐐🐐🐐
