Flying with hot air ballon
One of my very first posts was about the exciting experience I had flying with hot air ballon. Then little did I know how to create a good post and basically I was posting pictures with few words.
Now I would like fo share more about it. Let's go back in 2011.
Finding the baloon pilot
In my country ballooning is not so popular. There is a club in my home town called Adrenalin. They do bungee jumping and they got hot air balloon. But what I found was another balloon club, managed by the only Bulgarian woman balloon pilot. It just happened at that time she had an interview on the National Television and I contacted her right away. So far, so good. The next thing was to wait for the right weather condition and it took almost a month but believe me it was worth waiting for.
The day I fly away
I have to be early in the morning in Sofia. A young couple was joining me into this adventure and our pilot with her crew of three drove us far away from the city. The dawn was beautiful, the air - crisp and fresh. When we found the place suitable to start we watched for about an hour all the preparation for filling the balloon with hot air.
The moment I was waiting for
And now we are in the basket. The balloon was rising and the feeling was awesome. Going higher and higher and the landscape was extremely beautiful. Green fields followed by small villages, woods and fields again.
The flight took us round about fifty minutes and we landed gently in some other field. The ground team was following us with a jeep. They got to follow the balloon regardless the terrain. Luckily this time there were no swamps to cross as they have told me later.
The end of the journey

I really respect people who are looking for extreme sports. You're a great boy. I could not convince a daughter, wife and son to rise in a balloon, one son-in-law made me a company. The balloon is excellent!
