Why Steemit is infact a Ponzi scheme and you should quit right now.

in #ponzi8 years ago (edited)

There's no need to over complicate things. It's very simple.
A you help me more than I help you system is a Ponzi scheme, and that is exactly how this works.

A few will randomly benefit here and there, but the majority will waste their time and gain nothing.

This is really designed to serve the founders. Nothing more.

#butthurt much? Flagged you for FUD

Sounds like you're lashing out because your posts didn't get as much attention as you wanted.

Protip: Shitting on the platform you're trying to make money on isn't really a way to get money here.

@calva upvote me to warn people about this #butthurt FUD

Not at all.. It can sound however it wants to you but that doesn't make it true. I truly believe what I'm saying. Even if I were to make $10,000 on a post, I would still believe this.

Well you won't. Ever. Especially whining that Steem is a ponzi.

Pissing off the users on the platform you're trying to be a part of for monetary gain is silly.

Like I said, and you're proving me right, it is ALL about money while pretending not to be. Such a Ponzi. This Ponzi luckily has a self preservation element, like many of these Ponzi 2.0 scams. Reminds me of Uber's rating system. All these systems are disgusting exploitations of human ignorance.

All you're proving is you are a shit content creator who screams scam when he doesn't get a chunk of the pie.

I can definitely see where your coming but I think that Steemit has the potential to be so much more than that. I used to think in the way that you are thinking now but after reading this post, I changed my mind.

Steemit is more a canvass than a scheme. I think it's important to view it as something that has potential but could also spiral crazily out of control and eventually turn out to be, yes, a ponzi scheme. But when it comes to something like this, call me weird. I'm an optimist. I believe in the potential of Steemit, and I'll keeping believing until the day I'm finally proven wrong.

It's impossible not to think about the money. This system is designed to bring people in through that very incentive, so how can you forget about it at the same time? Doesn't make sense.

Well yeah its a scheme 1st its called steemit or steem so eventually people who shop on steam for games come across steem and its uses reddits style to pull reddit users in and they top it off with a pay for praise platform but the pay is steems own made up currency

You do realize Steemit isnt just about money right? True, it brought alot of people here, but that is how crypto and marketing in general work. However, steemit has a real chance to draw great content, and award those who produce it. It gives us all a chance to shape our online community / news feed / social network.

I think not

Well, atleast people can earn something with steemit. When looking at facebook and other social mediums, a "so called" ponzi might just be a better option.
