The 'McClinton Institute': Brought to You by the Rothschilds, the CFR & Dr. Kissinger

in #politics7 years ago (edited)

The more researchers dig into the McCain Institute, the more illegitimate it’s philanthropic endeavors would appear to be. In many ways, the McCain Institute parallels the Clinton Foundation façade as we will see.

Last week, True Pundit republished Disobedient Media’s piece on the McCain Institute giving the issue more visibility and more weight. The brief, but hard hitting, expose placed emphasis on the organization’s generic tax filings in regards to its “anti-trafficking” funding.

A review of the McCain Institute’s filings with the IRS reveals that they are not, in fact, spending any of their endowment on combating human trafficking, or apparently on any other expenses. In 2012, the McCain Institute received $8,685,619 in donations, gifts and grants. Yet their expenses were a mere $500,000. In 2013 they again, only contributed $500,000 of their endowment.

All of the donations made by the McCain Institute in 2012, 2013 and 2014 went to the Arizona State University Foundation, a group which appears to have nothing to do with human trafficking.

The McCain Institute

Previously, I explored the backgrounds of certain key members at the McCain Institute; Lady Rothschild, Ashton Kutcher, Ernie Allen and David Petraeus. Furthermore, the close relationships between John McCain, Hillary Clinton, David Petraeus and Lynn Rothschild were also examined.

Wikileaks Points to the McCain Institute and Lady Rothschild

In this piece, we will expand on the cast of characters by adding Lynn’s Husband Evelyn de Rothschild of the banking dynasty family and former US Secretary of State Dr. Henry Kissinger to the list.

War Criminal Henry Kissinger

Dr. Henry Kissinger was Secretary of State during the Nixon administration and gained notoriety for his real-politik approach to international relations.
This 2016 article from the Nation describes many of key political events that helped make Henry Kissinger a household name.

Let’s consider some of Kissinger’s achievements during his tenure as Richard Nixon’s top foreign policy–maker.
He (1) prolonged the Vietnam War for five pointless years;
(2) illegally bombed Cambodia and Laos;
(3) goaded Nixon to wiretap staffers and journalists;
(4) bore responsibility for three genocides in Cambodia, East Timor, and Bangladesh;
(5) urged Nixon to go after Daniel Ellsberg for having released the Pentagon Papers, which set off a chain of events that brought down the Nixon White House;
(6) pumped up Pakistan’s ISI, and encouraged it to use political Islam to destabilize Afghanistan;
(7) began the US’s arms-for-petrodollars dependency with Saudi Arabia and pre-revolutionary Iran;
(8) accelerated needless civil wars in southern Africa that, in the name of supporting white supremacy, left millions dead;
(9) supported coups and death squads throughout Latin America; and
(10) ingratiated himself with the first-generation neocons, such as Dick Cheney and Paul Wolfowitz, who would take American militarism to its next calamitous level. Read all about it in Kissinger’s Shadow!

A full tally hasn’t been done, but a back-of-the-envelope count would attribute 3, maybe 4 million deaths to Kissinger’s actions, but that number probably undercounts his victims in southern Africa. Pull but one string from the current tangle of today’s multiple foreign policy crises, and odds are it will lead back to something Kissinger did between 1968 and 1977. Over-reliance on Saudi oil? That’s Kissinger. Blowback from the instrumental use of radical Islam to destabilize Soviet allies? Again, Kissinger. An unstable arms race in the Middle East? Check, Kissinger. Sunni-Shia rivalry? Yup, Kissinger. The impasse in Israel-Palestine? Kissinger. Radicalization of Iran? “An act of folly” was how veteran diplomat George Ball described Kissinger’s relationship to the Shah. Militarization of the Persian Gulf? Kissinger, Kissinger, Kissinger.

Henry Kissinger is a war criminal, there is little doubt. However, many go out of their way to gloss over his murderous past and over the years Kissinger has been rebranded, so to speak, as a ‘respectable elder statesman’. Supporters of Kissinger marvel at his political intellect and shrewd diplomatic calculus.

Perhaps there are no two contemporary politicians who sing the praises of Dr. Kissinger more than Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican John McCain. During her 2016 presidential campaign Hillary Clinton proclaimed:

“I was very flattered when Henry Kissinger said I ran the State Department better than anybody had run it in a long time.”

Indeed, Clinton’s role in the Honduran coup and the bombing and regime change in Libya harken back to Kissinger’s role in numerous atrocities. His orchestration of several South American coups (Chile, Argentina, etc.) and the illegal bombing campaigns of Cambodia and Laos are well documented examples.

Not to be outdone, McCain seems to be anywhere and everywhere there’s an international crisis requiring US intervention, be it Iraq, Ukraine or Syria.
In a toast to Dr. Kissinger, given on the occasion of his 90th birthday, Senator McCain had this to say about his friend:

“So, here’s to my friend and benefactor, Henry Kissinger, the classical realist who did so much to make the world safer for his country’s interests, and by so doing safer for the ideals that are its pride and purpose. And who, out of his sense of duty and honor, once saved a man he had never met.”

The Late Christopher Hitchens penned a scathing article for the Guardian in 2001 regarding Kissinger’s true legacy.

The Kissinger Fellowship

The Kissinger Fellowship is an award given out by the McCain Institute for ‘character driven leadership’.

It focuses on developing the strategic skills of future foreign policy and national security leaders with the kind of principles that are the hallmark of Dr. Henry A. Kissinger’s career.

Kissinger Fellowship

The first recipient of the award (2016) went to the UK Conservative parliamentarian George Osborne, Chancellor for the Exchequer (2010-2015), Secretary of State and austerity proponent.

Rothschild Fellowship Funding

The man behind the funding for the Kissinger fellowship program is Evelyn de Rothschild. He was knighted by Queen Elizabeth 11 in 1989 for services to banking and finance. He is the husband of Lynn Forester de Rothschild who is a member of the McCain Institute’s board of trustees.

Evelyn Rothschild is involved with a number of charities himself:

The Rothschild ERANDA Foundation is a major donor to the McCain Institute dolling out over $300, 000.

Note: I wasn’t able to connect to the website

A short blurb of ERANDA activities includes giving ‘significant’ support to US as well as Africa, Haiti, India and Israel.

ERANDA Foundation has also donated $1-5 million to the Clinton Foundation.

Rothschild is involved in several children's charities as well.

He is an Honorary lifetime president at Norwood.

The Queen of England is a notable patron of the organization.

Quick facts on Rothschild and Henry Kissinger:

  • Lynn and Evelyn first met at a Bilderberg group conference in 2000, before getting married.

  • Henry Kissinger is also a member of the Bilderberg group.

  • Lynn Rothschild was a major presidential campaign financier for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 and 2016 runs and also John McCain’s 2008 presidential bid.

  • The Rothschild’s were invited to celebrate their wedding at the White House in 2001 by Bill and Hillary.

  • Rothschild’s ERANDA Foundation donated $1-5 million to the CF.

  • ERANDA Foundation report that they are involved with development work in Haiti

  • Henry Kissinger, Hillary Clinton and Lynn Rothschild are all members of the Council on Foreign Relations.

  • Kissinger has been a prominent member and major influence at the CFR for decades. In fact, there’s also a Kissinger fellowship at the CFR as well.

Kissinger, the State Department and the CFR

It has become increasingly clear that American voters have no real say in determining government policy. American elections have become token pageant shows, the election of a political 'outsider' Donald Trump not withstanding. Trump has not kept his promise to 'drain the swamp', in fact, he has filled the swamp with establishment figures, bankers and political donors. On another level, it hardly matters as lobbyists, special interest groups, Wall Street financiers and the corporate oligarchy have managed to cripple Congress and the Senate. Gridlock, impasse and paralysis typify domestic politics. Meanwhile, foreign policy characterized by military intervention, war profiteering, natural resource acquisition and international trade march steadily onward with the full support of both official parties. The agenda transcends administrations and is established by the true power brokers in American politics, organizations such as the CFR.

Nowhere is the planning and influence of the ruling class of the world’s and history’s most powerful capitalist state, the United States, more evident than in the Council of Foreign Relations (CFR).

…no such group remotely approximates the CFR in scale, reach, and influence when it comes to articulating the national and global class interests of the U.S. capitalist elite and a growing transnational capitalist ruling class. With an individual membership of 5000 (boasting an average household worth of $1.4 million), a top Fortune 500 corporate membership of 170, a staff over 330, a budget of $60 million, and assets of $490 million, the Council is “the largest and most powerful of all U.S. private think tanks that presume to discuss and decide the future of humanity in largely secret meetings behind closed doors in the upper-class neighborhoods of New York and Washington. During the last four decades,” Shoup observes, “the CFR has not only successfully continued its central position as the most important private organization in the United States, one with no real peer in the country. It has succeeded in expanding its key role, and remains at the center of the small plutocracy that runs the United States and much of the world.”

Consistent with that description, CFR members have long played prominent roles in the U.S. executive branch. Some among the many examples (what follows is a small sample) include President Jimmy Carter’s secretary of treasury (Michael Blumenthal), national security adviser (Zbigniew Brzezinski), secretary of state (Cyrus Vance), and arms control director (Paul Warnke), vice president (Walter Mondale), secretary of defense (Harold Brown), and CIA director (Stansfield Turner); President Ronald Regan’s secretaries of state (Alexander Haig and George Schultz), national security advisers (Colin Powell and Frank Carlucci), secretary of treasury (Donald Regan), secretaries of defense (Casper Weinberger and Frank Carlucci) and CIA directors (William Casey and William Weber); ten of CFR member George H.W. Bush’s eleven top foreign policymakers; fifteen of CFR member Bill Clinton’s top seventeen foreign policymakers along with two of three of Clinton’s treasury secretaries; fourteen of George W. Bush’s top foreign policy officials; twelve of Obama’s top foreign policy positions along with CFR members in five of his domestic policy cabinet positions.

The CFR possesses an unrivalled and vast domestic network of overlapping membership and directors with other leading “nonprofit” think-tanks and policy groups (Brookings, Carnegie, the Wilson Center, the American Enterprise Institute, the Heritage Foundation, the Peterson Institute for International Economics, the RAND Corporation. and many more), other private policy groups (including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Business Council, and the Business Roundtable), leading lobbying firms, top Fortune 500 corporations, top private equity and other non-bank investment firms, the top for-profit strategic political risk and advisory corporations (including Kissinger Associates and the Albirght-Stonebridge Group), leading universities (Harvard and Yale above all), major foundations (led especially by the Rockefeller Foundation), and top corporate media including numerous key connections with the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.

The McCain Institute: Senoma Forum

Not unlike the Bilderberg Group conventions, the McCain Institute holds an annual summit of the elite in Senoma Arizona. Guest speakers from the nation’s political class are invited to discuss American values, policy and strategy. Attended by Republicans and Democrats, past speakers include former vice-president Joe Bidden, former NSA director Michael Hayden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

The 2014 Sedoma Forum as described by the Washington Post:

According to a news release, Clinton is scheduled to "participate in a conversation" with McCain. This year's forum will focus on "Crisis in the Middle East: Values, Strategy and Options," and will include a session on Russia and Ukraine and on combating human trafficking.

Clinton and McCain forged a friendship in the Senate, when both served on the Armed Services Committee, and they and their spouses have supported each other's philanthropic endeavors.

Last month, McCain appeared on stage with Bill Clinton at the Clinton Global Initiative University conference in Tempe, Ariz., hamming it up like old buddies. And this week, Cindy McCain appeared at an event in Phoenix with business and community leaders and to promote Too Small to Fail, the early childhood education initiative that Hillary Clinton is helping lead. McCain sits on the group's leadership council.

Here we find the McCains and the Clintons working together in support of ‘shared values’ and ‘worthy causes’. This type of cooperation is rarely seen in the climate of contemporary DC politics and would serve as a shining example of bipartisan partnership, if it were not a total sham. The tax returns from these massive frauds illustrate their empty promises and rapacious nature.

Kissinger and McClinton

Just what do close relations between Dr. Kissinger and both McCain and Clinton mean? It illustrates 3 things namely.

  1. McCain and Clinton are 2 sides of the same coin. Their campaigns and their foundations serve the power elite. These special interest groups include fortune 500 corporations, the banks on Wall Street, the political class of the establishment and foreign donors such as the Saudis and Rothschilds.

  2. American democracy is dead, or at the very least mortally wounded. Washington politics has been thoroughly corrupted and what the average voter wants is of very little significance. Policy is driven by Wall Street and private interest who buy, own and control the political class who happily do the bidding of their masters.

  3. McCain and Clinton are traitors to their country, willing to sell out to the highest bidder. Their rhetoric is infused with liberal ethos championing liberal democratic values and causes through their foundations yet the truth remains, it is simply part of the public mask they use to conceal their insatiable greed and lust for power. The pursuit of personal gain in terms of the accumulation of power and self-enrichment is paramount, nothing else matters.

It's just one big circle!
Also Dr. Steve Pieczenik, who has videos on YT and is a regular guest on the Alex Jones Show, spoke of a "civilian counter coup" against the Clintons during the 2016 election and was Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance and James Baker. Personally I never liked the guy, he's got shifty eyes, but he is an expert in psychological warfare.

It is one big incestuous circle. They remind me of actors playing the part, saying what the masses want to hear, lip syncing the words during campaigns, having staged confrontations with each other and then once the cameras are turned off, they play golf together, go to the same parties, collect their payoffs from their corporate masters and laugh at we people behind closed doors.
