The Left Versus America.

On virtually every single key metric, America is doing better under Trump; our booming economy, our improved equality, increased access to opportunity, the reduction in crime, the soaring consumer and personal confidence and happiness people feel. The women's marches which mustered on the belief that Trump was going to make their future far worse have dissipated down to a small band of raging crazies as most come have come to grips with the reality that women are doing much better under Trump than ever before! Hell, even the riots in our inner cities have evaporated since Obama has been out office! Black and Hispanic employment and opportunity are at all time highs!

It has become glaringly obvious that the Left will continue to completely ignore and distract from America's spectacular current reality and will continue to pick the most vile talking points to maintain their slanderous assault on the man they consider to be the enemy of America, even though now half of America approves him despite his prickly and off-putting personality.

Meanwhile the Left is relegated to trans-activism, the climate-change hoax, slandering Trump with the worst features of Obama-era immigration policies, and trying to bring him down on technicalities because he didn't roll over for a hostile Congress who wanted his head on a platter from the start and spent four years investigating him but couldn't even find a crime to include in their articles of impeachment. It's sad and pathetic. The Left is going to have to come up with something better than blasting him for having a style that is nasty and bombastic. We all know he drives progs nuts. They hate him for it and he hates them back.

So I'll just repeat a few things that the Left seems unwilling or incapable of addressing: Trump is hardly the enemy of America. When considering his policies and accomplishments, he's frankly far more of a traditional American president than anything the Left is offering. His style is certainly different, but his policies and guiding principles are not. He's proven that he's pro life, pro-gun, pro-liberty, pro-business, for low taxes, reducing regulation, strong defense, border security, and he appoints judges who don't legislate from the bench. He's a populist. The dems have proven their hostility to all of these things which the vast majority of Americans value. Trump may be an ass, but he's certainly an American patriot.

And for good measure, I'll repeat what Professor Tony Esolen wrote:

"Donald Trump is an old-fashioned liberal from New York. Not a newfangled liberal, because the newfangled ones have lost their minds, but an old fashioned one. His acts as president have on the whole been very good for the country. The Dow is up 63 percent since his election. The NASDAQ is up more than 90 percent. Manufacturing jobs are beginning to return to places like Ohio and PA. We have recalibrated trade relations with China, and the sky did not fall in. We have an education secretary who is moving to give more authority to states, and more choice to parents. We have not gotten entangled in any more wars, and we are gradually disentangling ourselves from the ones we have been in. Unemployment is down, and hourly wages are up, particularly at the low end of the spectrum. What the hell is not to like here?"

These are the things that truly matter to the vast majority of Americans, and it is becoming increasing clear to us that the Left are not only are so terribly out of touch with us, but that they cannot even acknowledge why Trump is so popular or understand why people aren't jumping on board with every needling criticism and attack the Left makes on Trump. Stumped, and living in an alternative reality, the Left has simply leapt to the cheapest and most ridiculous conclusion; the vast majority of Americans are just racist, uneducated greedy pigs who are clinging to their God and their guns. They Left is so incapable of introspection today that they cannot even consider whether it is they who are actually indoctrinated rather than educated and living in a state of denial about what really matters to most Americans. The Left likes to sling the slogan 'love trumps hate', posture like they are standing up to the tyranny of Hitler, and believe that they are the most tolerant people on the planet, but every day we see them attempt to silence debate, assault their political opponents, spew their venom at anyone who doesn't march in lockstep with the politically correct dictates of contemporary progressivism, and we see their cancel culture run amok destroying the lives of anyone who disagrees with them.

Furthermore, it's now clear that democrats, realizing that simply hurling hateful invective at Trump and republicans is not a winning agenda, have now donned the mantle of and fully embraced the failed ideology of our historical enemies: socialism/Communism. The Left really does want to fundamentally change America and conduct an assault on our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Bernie's loyalties have been with our enemies his entire life. He's kissed every tyrant's ass since Stalin. He prays at the altar of Marx and preys upon the fears and resentments of people too young to remember and to wretchedly educated to realize the atrocities and disasters of the very system he is attempting to impose. The other candidates offer little difference in quality, only quantity. Each of them propose the same answer to every social and economic problem; give government more power and more of your money to push us around and tell us what to do.

And so while the progressive Ruling Class whips up the proletariat into frenzies by peddling hate, resentment, envy, and covetousness, and by dividing us with identity politics along race, sex, age and class lines, the rest of us will go about our business making America great again, protecting our Founding Principles from their assaults, and thwarting all their attempts to turn us into the United Socialist States of America. The Left today offers only hate and handouts. The rest of America still believes in the American Dream.
