Post civilization?

Uncivil behavior had become endemic in the world today. The urge to power trumping discourse is visible in the push for "political correct" speech codes, in massive trolling, doxxing, DoS attacks, swatting, bike lock attacking etc..etc... It is no longer possible to engage in debate and persuade with reason. Where it is impossible to dialog in a civil manner there is no civilization. We live in a post-civil society where power speaks and those without power must obey. There can be no questioning authority when every penalty is essentially the death penalty, as witnessed by the deletion of so many social media voices. Being on the wrong side of power means death. This is now barbarian territory where might makes right and the weak obey or get trampled. We need to understand the lay of the land and what the rules really are and stop pretending there is some reasonable person out there. He's not out there, he got trampled by the exercise of unrestrained will to power. We need to gear up for the apocalypse because believe it or not Mad Max world is here and now.
