It's all about that power and money. I am not as familiar with the political situation in USA although I was supporting Trump. But I can tell you how things are in my country (Bulgaria). A leftist government came, they promised they will raise pensions, which they didn't, and instead they voted a flat tax of 10%, and a corporate tax of 10%. Which is not a leftist move. Then a rightist government came in and killed small and medium sized businesses with their legislation. It's just gimmicks.
Capitalism helps businesses.
Business and economies and the middle class do better when taxes and regulations go down and that is how things get better. We do better as government gets smaller.
I think the democratic party is dead to be honest.
I believe you are right! The democrats right now are nothing more than a regional party. What does that mean exactly most people ask? Well, they are mainly based out of certain regions like CA or large cities like NYC. They aren't spread out much.
In other words, the politicians who win in the majority of areas right now and have been winning are republicans. Itis because in smaller communities they can see the havoc and destruction infinite welfare causes. Jobs lost in a small town are felt, people know eachother. Thousands of jobs lost in a town of 100,000 are felt, Democrats are laregely responsobile for all of that bad deals they signed like NAFTA and others that kill jobs here and ship them overseas. It isn't right.
The left will soon fade more and more nationally and they will split into two. Theere will not be a Democrat party in 2020 that is united, it will be a divided split Democrat party. Bernie proves it, the fact he was able to get as far as he did with it rigged against him is the proof. People don't want Clinton or another puppet.
