An Open Letter To Donald Trump... (And His Supporters)...

Dear Mr. Trump,

Your presidency has inspired a wave of political enthusiasm not seen in America for many decades. Not only in your speeches, but through your actions - you have drawn out your vision of a new American future in which the country distances itself from the diplomacy, equality, and freedom that has defined it for the last 241 years. Your disregard for political, social, economic, and ethical norms has thrilled, amazed, and in some cases disgusted voters across the entire political spectrum, and if your administration accomplishes absolutely nothing else from this point forward, you will at least be remembered for that.

Hundreds of thousands of people, both young and old, have engaged in the political process for the first time ever, and a strong argument can be made attributing it to the things you have said and done over the last year. African-Americans, Native-Americans, Hispanic-Latinos, Asian-Americans, Muslims, Christians, Nazis, Neo-Fascists, and pretty much every other minority group and sub group of citizens, who have previously felt so alienated from the politics as usual, have since been invigorated and decided to re-engage in the political process.

Today you stand at the head of a movement that believes so deeply in the vision you have laid out, they are willing to forego the most basic logic and reason to stand with you in the pursuit to “Make America Great Again”. Your followers separate themselves almost completely from the reality they used to reside in, and their blind faith culminates in ways no one ever dreamed possible. To the millions of people you claim have attended your rallies, the one fact that your campaign was financed through donations from mega corporations and uber wealthy citizens – should stand as testament to this powerful new movement’s passion and energy, as well as the utter senselessness and complete lack of understanding of the voting populous.

You should however not forget about the enthusiastic corps of paid political operatives, Republican Party organizers, and foreign government representatives who stood fast to ensure voters would turn out to support you on election day - finally bringing to a close the Obama era of progressivism that as you have stated many times in the past, could not have been brought to an end a day too soon. This is the same political infrastructure that will be necessary, perhaps even instrumental for success, in your continued effort to undo everything your predecessor had worked so tirelessly – and so naively to achieve over the last eight years.

Having done their part to place you into the white house, the continued support of this movement will in most cases prevent, or in the worst circumstances, be able to counteract those seeking any real change within American politics. With the steadfast leadership from all who you are beholden to, the established power structure within both congressional bodies, and the organized forces of money and finance, the dead weight that is your presidency will no doubt carry on the corporate greed and military adventurism America is now singularly known for throughout the world.

Since your historic victory in November of last year, you have displayed complete and total loyalty to the commitments expressed by you and most of the others who supported your campaign. There have been no signals or what could be considered troubling signs, that you are attempting to move away from your core beliefs, or even moving slightly toward a more centrist space that would be much more politically safe and secure. I recognize that the pressures brought to bear on the person holding the highest office in the land can no doubt become intense, and I understand that prior to your presidency, compromise was necessary for any democracy to function properly. Neither of these inherent “hurdles” appear to be in any way a hindrance, specifically as it relates to your agenda, and as it goes so far, potentially your presidency overall.

Vigorous backing from your core supporters will certainly be instrumental in continuing your effort to maintain the government status quo. In order to continue the preventative measures you have implemented and fought so hard to guarantee for your donors, there are several key positions you have embraced that I believe are essential to sustaining this unprecedented movement you now lead. No matter what - you must always reassure these select few individuals and corporations, that it is no longer possible for any challenge to their complete control to ever take place in the future. Retreating in any way from the bold and in most cases unpopular stands that have been the signature issues of your administration, will likely only serve to anger and dismay many of your most loyal supporters.

Here are the key positions you have so vocally embraced, and I believe continuing to support or even in many cases expanding them, will be the bare minimum requirements essential to sustaining the movement’s continued success. After all if recent history is any indication, there is absolutely no limit to how far down the proverbial rabbit hole the American voter is willing to go.

  •  Environmental regulation should continue to be dismantled, and your predecessor’s policy of routing billions of dollars to alternative energy sources and green jobs should be shifted back to subsidies and corporate tax credits for established energy companies. Reducing fuel consumption and emissions standards will also serve to assure America will consume exponentially more fossil fuels, thus returning the ever increasing billions in profits back to the energy sector donors who support you.
  •  More must be done to silence the voices of ordinary people attempting to influence and reform the political process. Corporate lobbyists and special interest money should be given preferential treatment in every regard, and new laws should be implemented to guarantee none of the restrictions placed on them in the past, will any longer apply.
  •  Reform of the drug laws is crucial to support the burgeoning corporate prison industry that has been so gracious in their donations. Minimum mandatory sentencing should be expanded to include crimes not currently covered under the guidelines. Hundreds of thousands of defendants convicted of criminal drug charges, who currently avoid incarceration through various probation and parole programs, should be re-evaluated and incarcerated pending the outcome of their reviews, and the standards used to determine suitability for release from prison should be written by the prison itself – eliminating the financial burden on the courts.
  •  Every attempt should be made to reverse and/or negate laws directed at the civil liberties for women, children, and minority groups that have flourished since the 1960’s. Improving the conditions in urban communities, disparities in education, access to and/or the right to abortion, general reproductive health services, racial and ethnic equality, and child labor standards should no longer be considered a priority or even recognized as an issue to be resolved by the federal government. Groups within the government that endorse and promote these as issues of importance should be disbanded, and refusal to do so should be considered acting against the interests of the United States.
  •  Your administrations continuation of the current economic situation in America has been precisely what was expected of you. Reducing the disparity between the wealthy and the poor has never been, and never should be a priority for you. I’m fairly certain you would never attempt to change the very thing that has provided you with so much, but even in the event you are somehow incentivized for more than your current benefactors offer, you should continue to expend every effort to systematically dismantle:
    •  The entire social welfare system including the financial safety net for the elderly and children with disabilities and return that money to the people and corporations who are so much more deserving of its benefit.
    •  Reduce or completely eliminate any federal government investment in restoring the countries crumbling infrastructure. Any funds currently budgeted for roads, bridges, water supply lines, and the electric grid should be immediately turned over only to the private for profit institutions that offer financial support to your presidency.
    •  Create new laws that will make it utterly impossible to organize labor unions, and continue your efforts to dismantle meaningful government enforcement of labor laws that are crippling corporate ability to increase profits through exploitation of workers. Eliminating the federal government regulation of industry has been instrumental to increasing profits and decreasing liability, however more certainly can and should be done.

Standing firm on the principals you have so compellingly articulated will assure continued success in bringing more wealth and power to the select few who you deem worthy, and the before mentioned list of actions will assure continued support and unwavering belief in you from these individuals and corporations. Thank you for everything you have done Mr. President, you’ve encouraged the entire world to believe no matter how utterly crazy something appears, we can now believe anything is possible…

Dear @drdave,

This is such a beautiful letter! Speaks from the heart of a sane person to the insane population of the wealthy individuals and powerful corporations.

Had the insane had a brain to think, they would receive your words and heed the wisdom in them. Alas though! After all, they are insane...

Thank you for imprinting this wisdom on this blockchain for the future generations to hopefully see. At least they will know there were people back then disapproving (and fighting with whatever power they have) of the destruction they are seeing in their life time.

Thanks for the reply TLK... This "letter" to the buffoon in chief was in a winding, twisted, roundabout sorta way, inspired by your "whale poop" post.

Third, If you can enter their head, it most likely means you entered their stomach. Then your only choice is to hope that you will be Pooped out, maybe stinkier, but at least bigger and full of Sh*T...

If I can get inside even 1 Trump supporter's head and "enlighten" them to the absurdity of their beliefs, I will feel vindicated and satisfied that my time writing it was not wasted.

BTW - everything you mentioned in that post has really stuck with me - and believe it or not, you @steemmeupscotty, and @doctorcrypto, (couple others) prompted me not to just quit posting on Steemit outright. I have already come to terms with the fact that I will likely never make any money here, so my writing is now only for my own benefit and improvement...

Despite the fact that highly educated, English-speaking people told me in real life that my writing (in a second language) is very good.

As I read through your bullet points, I could not help but notice that all the things Donald Trump is doing represent the same Republican agenda since Ronald Reagan. Donald Trump and other Establishment Republicans want the total deconstruction of society. They want to turn over all the coercive power to giant conglomerates and wealthy oligarchs. They long for the days when just three people -- Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller, and JP Morgan governed America.

But it is worse. As someone who watches court cases, new Constitutional protections for corporations and new interpretations permitting businesses to have religious 'beliefs,' and to use those beliefs to Excommunicate Americans from participating in the economy either as consumers or employees, and even being used as an excuse to deny Americans of government benefits, spells a new and harsh Dark Ages of Feudalism and Overlords.

Anyone who thought Donald Trump was an outsider fell for the LARP. It is plain as day now.

spells a new and harsh Dark Ages of Feudalism and Overlords.

How true - Could not have said it better...

It's the age of stupidity, the stupidest you are, the greatest you are... No brains required... :)

Where are the rest of the country, you know... When 50% lost, I should see them alive somewhere, anywhere... I'm with you, but I'm less hopefull then you are..
You see... Everytime you drink cokacock, or eat any burger shit, brand don't matter, you are a Super ,Duper, FK, discousting precious human garbage... Nothing happens random, never did&never will,... You are a victim of your own feces..but we all are so decent & clean, no one ever gives a Shitz...

Thanks for the mention here @drdave :) Let's steem on and let the chips fall where they may.

Thanks man... Who knows - maybe the chips will fall my way... Eventually... ;)

Very smooth, nicely put... I had to go up&down while reading, trying to figure out which way it goes... You should have tagged Sarcasm in there too... Too bad, I'm afraid not many will get to read it... :)

Such is the way on Steemit - I'm glad at least a couple of people appreciate it though... Thnx...

Very well written opinion piece!

I'll just leave this here.
Pesky facts and numbers, interfering with emotional rhetoric

obama - arab spring, isis, drone strikes, increased debt in the in his term, uranium to russia.

more then the rest of

US history of over 200 years...combined...

aw mon.jpg

Obama transferred more wealth to the 1% than anyone in the history of the human race!!!

Gotta love progressives...

There's just a couple minor details that I think you are forgetting - 8 years of George W Bush and that never mentioned 2007 financial meltdown... Another favorite pastime of conservatives - re-writing history...

I never mentioned trump either! lol - or Clinton before bush - all politicians are disingenuous, by their nature of being in politics...

The meltdown was due to government interventions. (a.k.a bank intervention- wealth accumulation..by sub prime loans. asset forfeiture is the name of the game. A long term marxist strategy.)

Progressive marxism is worse than free market economies.

There can be no governments & banks, involved in free market economies, like there has been for for the last 200 years - from rothschilds usurping of the bank of England money supply after 1815 to the the federal reserve in 1913. (google Jekyll island)

From standard oil monopolies in collusion with the US government in the early part of the last century , and creating monopolies,(only possible with finance/gvmnt collusion) to obamacare. care, and collusion with insurance/big pharma in this century.

Crony capitalism IS marxism through the back door.

Unwinding this last 50 years of insanity will take a while. Trump, for all his qualities, is heading in that direction, and not to the fema camp gulags that socialism has to offer.

Remember - all socialism runs on the back of successful capitalism, and then fails.

There is no historical president that says differently - from soviet russia, to cuba, to venezuala today..

Socialism is only ever allowed to happen, because of the wealth created by the most natural organic, positive dynamic there is -a market - a free one.

I don't rewrite history - I know history.

You are most welcome

There are so many things wrong with what you just said that I'm having a hard time deciding where to begin... Gona sleep on it and get back to you tomorrow... You should maybe check this out to see where I stand though...

I quickly zipped through it - very nice post !

So we essentially agree, just disagree on terms, and the road map ! lol

Your writing is great!
Your arguments not so much.
Such as, what reason do you have for saying that what you have outlined above is why half your country voted for President Trump?
Shall we make it 20 sbd? but add the clause that if he leaves office due to injury, illness or death that the wager is void.

First I have to say thanks for the compliment - coming from someone else who I think is a dam good writer, somehow means more. I would also have to admit that I "mostly" agree with you as it relates to Israel - I do think the Jewish military have pushed way past the limits of defense, and can no longer just say they are protecting themselves from an insurgency. That being said, anyone who believes Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem should somehow be "given back" to Palestine, would also have to advocate giving all of the Americas back to the Native Americans - not to mention they are forgetting the brutal, Jew hating, f'd up history of the last 20 centuries. I have studied the Six Day War - for that alone they gain concession from me.

Now to the fun stuff...

You seem to have lost that aura of confidence, what happened to betting on a second term? Now its hedges against injury, illness, or death - sounds like a change of heart to me... ;)
I would definitely concede death, but injury and illness just seem like something the orange clown would "fake" when the house of cards that is his presidency, comes crashing down. Lets say if he is charged/impeached "prior" to resigning in disgrace - I mean falling ill to some mysterious virus, or an unfortunate golfing accident, I win...

To answer your question I'm gonna borrow a paragraph from @mindhawk 's latest post - he does a great job laying it out...

This is similar if not identical to the lopsided, backwards minority-rule dynamic Hitler used to take power in 1933. It is ironic that almost every one of Trump's voters has probably seen over a hundred Rise of the Third Reich documentaries on the history channel. As someone who grew up laying on the carpet watching over the shoulder of old men in chairs watching the endless world war II hagiography that continues to this day, it is beyond bizarre that all the lessons learned about fascism, the geneva convention, the international criminal court and the united nations have been thrown out the window by the same people who most glorify the violence that those institutions were designed to mitigate then eradicate. After the wars and calamity people always ask 'how were they so blind? Maybe that is one of the most important things I add to the blockchain, my witness of how the people of my country went mad, became weak and lost their heritage right before my eyes.

This is exactly what trump supporters worry about too!

Not looking good, impeachment fail.

I think National Geographic identifies this guy's species as a Trumpanzee... Next time you want to try to convince me of something, try to get someone slightly more articulate - and wearing a shirt... I did suffer through 3 1/2 minutes though (SUFFER THROUGH) n granted he makes a few valid points, but none of his conclusions are based in reality. What do you think the outcome is going to be after the 2018 congressional elections when a huge portion of the Republicans loose their seats? ( I doubt he makes it that long)

Something tells me this is more like the reality we'll see...

Edit:
What really interests me about the whole thing, is even after four of Trumps inner circle are either facing charges or taking a deal to save their own skin, people still deny that there is anything wrong with what this bunch did- it amazes me...
Edit-II:
Give yourself an honest answer to this question - What would your position be if Obama did even two of the ignorant things the orange clown is accused of? I said honest... :0

My reply was too long so I made a post out of it because of Capitalism. https://steemit.com/informationwar/@openparadigm/how-i-was-red-pilled
