In America what is the point of having the First Amendment when media companies work for political parties ? ? ?

If you are a Democrat you know that you watch the news scripts by the television stations that make you feel good.

So If you vote Democrat yo know if your read propaganda written for Republicans you are going to disagree, get irritated, angry. Naturally people are going to read stuff that makes them feel good, that their view of the world is correct.

Try this experiment; take your car to the local shopping center, find a deserted spot and release the brakes. Now try and push your car uphill or against the sloping land surface. Now push your car downhill and be ready to grab that brake as the car picks up speed due to momentum and gravity !!!

How is society protected when stakeholders own media outlets and script propaganda for their respective political affiliates? Hillary is not going to bother going on the Republican networks and Donald is not likely to agree to appear on the Democrat outlets.

You can always google the results when both parties tried appearing on the opposing networks but you will find both parties found the complications far outweighed any potential new recruits. Once politics becomes scripted propaganda only society will suffer.

Anyone remember how the Media, Republicans and Democrats found a common enemy when the " Tea Party " started to take ' market percentage shareholding away ' from the only two political parties : )

Go on , go do some searches of recent political history ; after all the human memory is very short lived ! ! !

Ever wonder how Judges decide upon Constitutional matters ? Simple they just consider the influence and status of the petitioner then they consider which way they voted on similar questions in the past. After consulting their previous rulings score card as well as their career prospects relating to this petitioner thus they vote. Logical and just pure common sense or did I mean self interest ; I always get confused by the difference . . .

Not sure how well this fits in your post, but when you talked about googling results on both parties, be aware that google is biased toward the Democratic party. My suggestion would be to do the same search using another browser like Bing. Just saying.

Elsewhere in my posts, let me link it; well OK sorry I cannot find the old comment, some reason I can see only a certain distance backwards in my crok acct.

Search Engines are big business, as big business they want and need certain things from the Government. This government understanding maybe in questionable accounting practices, ownership laws, fair market competition or maybe even tax breaks for employing more people ; whatever . . .

Do a search of the United States use of radiation weapons in Iraq during the first Gulf War; do this search within America. Then have a friend repeat the same search overseas and check out the very different results.

Thus maybe all search engines fully cooperate with the government, after all they are in exactly the same industries ; money , power , influence ! ! !

Here is one Canadian opinion from 1998

Generally it was not widely reported for obvious financial reasons having nothing to do with the First Amendment that the Pentagon pressured the FDA to fast track untested vaccines to be tested on military personnel in Iraq.

This urgency was heightened by the rapid build up for Desert Shield and Desert Storm, of course tens of thousands of military personnel got very sick ; but business is business. Those same exemption laws still exist for the Pentagon to utilize the next time it needs a fast little war for its masters . . .

I will check it, thank you!
