It is your oil, siphoned off by the multinationals and sold at a huge profit while your people starve. It is their oil. The people of Nigeria should be rich.
The greed of the elites will always bring revolution and, more often than not, the revolution does not hurt the elites but strengthens their position. Look at Libya. Look at Syria. Look at Venezuela. A people divided is a people conquered.
We should really be rich but the antithesis obtains. Our collective patrimony is fleeced and we are left in abject, undesirable poverty. By the time the war or revolution commences, the elite will take to their heels pronto. It has to start now. Thank you for your comment. Duly followed back.
