The commodification of life. This is a symptom of industrialization. If you ever read John Zerzan, especially Twilight of the Machines, this will seem familiar in respect to the correlation between lack of socialization in relation to technological dependence. It will only worsen. Fear not, the pharmaceutical industry will have it's next magic bullet. Obey, consume, sleep .....now where's that last pack of bubblegum.
