Political convention speeches just do not do it for me.

I find that I am not interested in watching Harris on Thursday. I was not interested in watching Trump or Biden four years ago. Or watching Trump or Clinton eight years ago. I was interested in watching Trump earlier at the RNC convention. That was right after the assassination attempt and I was interested in seeing how he would react. And I admit that the first ten minutes was fascinating and I had slim hopes that he could have used that speech as an opportunity to move us away from dehumanizing each other. Then old Trump took over the speech and I lost interest in it.
