*Tyrant Alert* Hot Cop violates man's body. YouTube took down this video Date of incident: May 16, 2018 Trinidad Colorado
A man called the Trinidad Police department to file a complaint on another cop who nearly ran him over in the local Safeway parking lot. While he was giving his complaint to Corporal DelFuentes, (the woman) and Officer Guttierez, the Corporal tells the man to stop video recording her. When he informs her that it is his property and he is going to record, she immediately orders him to take his hands out of his pocket, which he refuses. Having now had her butt entirely hurt, she informs him that if he doesn't take his hands out of his pocket, they will not take his complaint. He says fine and the woman turns her back to this "threat" and begins to leave. The man then demands their name and badge numbers. Having her Ah-thor-a-tay challenged did not sit well with the Corporal who then attacked the man under the guise of officer safety. (although we all know it was to show him who was boss)
After searching him, and stealing his pocket knife, the man demands that they leave his property. (which is his right to do) Still trying to show him who is boss, she completely ignores his demands while he protests that he doesn't want to hear any more out of her mouth. Under Colorado law, this is called trespassing in the 3rd degree. Since she no longer had any valid business on this man's property, she should have left immediately, but she did not. Let me know in the comment section, what you think of the actions of all of those involved in this.

If you think that was crazy, check out my video where a man got arrested for being on public property filming. There were no sign, no fences, nothing. But they still arrested him after he had already left the property.
Seems to me that she was taking his complaint seriously towards whoever was driving in that parking lot. For him to hand her the video he'd had to have his hands exposed, while requesting him not to video tape her she notices he put his hands in his pocket. She politely ask him out of concern for their safety to remove his hands, he refuses, she refuses to take his complaint and starts to walk off. He starts to follow them and becomes belligerent towards them...in my opinion she has a right at that point to be concerned about what he could possibly have in his pocket he could harm them with as they try to walk away. To make sure they can leave safely they check him on it. They weren't interested in arresting him for anything, obviously, just to be able to walk away in safety. Doesn't matter he's using profanity and intimidating them, that just raises the bar of them not possibly walking away safely, they secure their passage to leave safely by removing the knife, he continues to be belligerent and demanding but they are leaving just like he requested and even gave the knife to someone else on the porch who wasn't involved in the altercation. They didn't want to harass him, they didn't want to arrest him, they just wanted to assure their safety while there and upon exit. Most cops wouldn't have handled the situation as well as they did. Once he started objecting and tousling with them over the knife they could have arrested him...he's pretty lucky that all they wanted to do is walk away safely, most people would have been arrested.
The pocket knife was 3 inches long. It takes 2 hands to open it, and one of his hands was holding the camera and cell phone. They also know who this guy is, since he is an activist who goes around filming the police. This is a tiny little town(population 9000) and it's the largest town in the county. They have virtually no crime, and the only time a cop has ever been killed there was 1905.
But the biggest thing is, in Adams v Williams, the supreme court says that cops can only do a Terry frisk on someone if they are suspected of a crime. Which he was not.

Fascinating. wonder if there police are being more informed about video and want to avoid it like the plague. In my option you have great diction when explaining the situation at the beginning with an eclectic vocabulary and proper tonality. In the mist of the situation I can understand that it can be tense to speak in the moment as such the quality of word choice dwindles. He could have, but as an activist, he is standing up for his rights. This wasn't for officer safety actually. It was a power play on her part.
Totally agree! I just feel he antagonised here by not doing it and really its not a big thing to take your hands out of your pocket. I know you don't have to be any stretch but for me its about setting the example 💯🐒
His whole point was that he didn't have to. He is a police accountability activist who records the police. They know this, and they know him. This is a small town. (population 9000, and the whole county only has 15,000)
The fact is, the supreme court said in Adams v Williams, that cops can only do a Terry frisk of someone if they are suspected of a crime. He was filing a complaint against another cop and not suspected of any crime, therefore the demand and the frisk were a violation of his 4th amendment rights. Cops have been messing with him, that is why he records them always, and keeps all of his rights, no matter how small.
