Steem Poker League Updates
Changes in the @spl to be covered in this post: New tournament schedule including a daily 30 STEEM tournament, changes to the free chip policy to encourage more discretion, and new ways to earn chips and tickets that get you into tournaments. Read on to find out what's new on lucksacks.com!
Thanks to the gigantic effort of @tuck-fheman, lucksacks.com is continually changing and is now an even better platform to play poker and win SBD or STEEM for free, all from within your browser! All you need is a legitimate steemit account with at least 30 reputation and you have to have made an introduction post in order to receive payouts.
Play Chips Matter Even More Now!
Starting from today, every new and old user of lucksacks.com will receive 1000 chips that are used to register for tournaments. Chips are free, but to encourage more meaningful play, you can only add more chips once per week. With smaller tournaments costing 10 chips and larger tournaments costing 50 chips to enter, you must be careful managing your chips to last the week!
Fortunately for the steemit poker community, Lucksacks offers multiple ways to earn more chips and tickets and be able to enter tournaments.
Ring Games
Lucksacks.com features ring games in a variety of formats (NLH, LH, Omaha, Stud, & Razz) and buy-in levels where you can wager your play chips versus your fellow steemians. This is a great way to improve your poker skills and increase your chip count.
Sit-n-Go's
In the last @spl update post I mentioned the introduction of Satellite Tournaments to lucksacks. Win one of these Satellites and you earn a Ticket that is good for free admission into a tournament. The site has since been updated with even more satellites to increase the ways you can qualify for tournaments without having to spend your precious chips.
You can now win a Satellite Ticket for any of the larger freeroll tournaments through their respective Satellite Tournaments located under the Sit & Go tab on lucksacks.
Introducing: You can also now play Sit & Go's for more chips! Sit & Go's now pay out up to 500 chips and can start with as little as 3 players. Make a post on steemit using the #spl tag or gather up some players in our Discord and start a Sit & Go today.
New Tournament Schedule
The new schedule for tournaments on Lucksacks means you can now play for SBD/STEEM pretty much any time, no matter in which time zone you are located.

The Sunday 50 STEEM at 3pm PST/5pm CDT/6pm EST/01:00 CET
Every week there will be an opportunity to get into Lucksack's biggest prizepool tournament, the Sunday 50. The ONLY ways to get into this tournament are:
- Win a 50 STEEM Sit & Go Satellite Tournament OR
- Earn a ticket by winning a Daily 30 STEEM Tournament
There is an opportunity to "win your way up" to the Sunday 50 STEEM. If you win the Daily 8 STEEM tournament, you get a ticket into the Daily 10. If you win the Daily 10, you get a ticket into the Daily 18. If you win the Daily 18, you get a ticket into the Daily 30. And, if you win the Daily 30, you get a ticket into the Sunday 50.
Additionally, you can win a Satellite into any of these and win your way up from there. Ex. Win the 30 STEEM Satellite Tournament. Enter a Daily 30 STEEM Freeroll. Win and get a ticket to the Sunday 50.
You can also host your own private tournament on lucksacks.com! Talk to @steeminator3000 to set one up at your desired time.
It's Getting Better All the Time
Hopefully these changes give everyone in the steemit poker community the opportunity to participate as they'd like while fixing the issue of those not respecting the spirit of the game by idling all game and then repeatedly pushing all-in just to try to win some STEEM.
Steem Poker League prizes are funded entirely through SBD made on posts. If you want to support this continued awesomeness, follow @spl or @tuck-fheman and upvote all poker-related posts, usually found under the #spl tag.

i like new tournament with 30 steem guarantee plus 1000 chips per week is better than 100 per day :d
I think we need tournament what we can access only through satellites , lets say once per week tournament at sunday . Sunday steem , and all week satellites running for it in schedule every day with ticket.
Great idea! Setting something up.
I think that could be a great idea.
ye its like you feel something like sunday million and its once per week and you need to fight your way there its awesome
I am not a big fan of satellites, I think if you limit the chips and the prize pool increase over time- then people will start to play more carefully.
As an European player also like that there are now 10+ tournaments for each timezone, some probably rushed all in because they didnt had the opportunity to play it normal under normal conditions.
Its almost impossible to play a good game when its 3 in the night.
Nice. What about a satellite AND an option to pay a LARGE amount of chips like 750 for a 50SP tourney. Just a thought. If people can't win a sat or are busy or what not it would still make sure the tourney has numbers. Just an idea from a fanboy. haha
Good idea. I'll bring it up to @tuck-fheman
Good work Tuck on the effort you are putting in to this to make it more enjoyable.
Building on from @investwarrior's idea (well actually thought of it based on discord discussions before I saw this post), you could have a winners tourney open to those who place in the money during the daily tourneys.
The winner of each of the bigger tourneys gets a ticket into the next highest tourney. (Win the 8, get a ticket to the 10; win the 10, get a ticket to the 18; win the 18, get a ticket to the 30; win the 30 get a ticket to the 50). So, the Sunday 50 STEEM (which reminds me I need to add that into this post) is only accessible if: You win the 50 STEEM Satellite or you win a 30 STEEM daily. Should be pretty good competition that way.
ye i received ticket waiting for you guys there
Awesome idea on the sat tournaments!

hi @beautifulbullies. some tournaments won't let you register until 30min-1 hour before they start. If you have any questions, try the Discord
thank you
Good stuff on the changes. I think that makes a lot of sense. Although, I might need to get back to you in a couple of weeks if I'm not winning my way into enough big tournaments... :p
