Update CHP on Hitbtc exchange and quick summary of CoinPoker

in #poker7 years ago

Was a welcome surprise to find the purchased CHP in the Enjin wallet this morning. They just needed the weekend to sort it out. I am happy that I did not cancel the transaction from last post about the start of the adventure. The send transaction to link CoinPoker wallet was easy. Did a CHP withdrawal back to the Enjin wallet. Sent them to market and put them up for a stop limit price. The market is way down about 50% from the initial price when CHP opened on Hitbtc. With some luck it will get a little bounce and the CHP will sell a little better. Currently they only have a ETH/CHP gate set up for trade that I can see.

It took a while but now playing there has some real value. Its an interesting experiment I think that the CHP used on the table is also traded directly in the crypto market. I been playing there over a month now. The fields are getting tougher. Heard some reports that there are already bots playing. In the white paper they said that they would have the security to prevent that.

Currently every game has CHP added. That is a promotion they are running until 5 million CHP is used up. I don't know how long it will last. Just looking at the screen shot I would guess that 50k is added daily, so it could be a while. Sometimes games fail to launch because not enough are signed up to play. The tables are high action because they are 6 or 4 seats. Also most games are free rolls or a fairly cheap buy-in so that calling down is done more often.

The white paper goes on and on about the benefits of block chain for online poker. Especially about how random number generator could be improved using the tech. I think they all have a similar model of programming. Get'em in, get'em off, get'em out. Like a well run brothel. It's a surprise to me when I see the shorter stack behind in a hand for all the chips hang a bad beat. Not so much a surprise when the larger stack puts a beat on a smaller stack for their tourney life. Even from way behind needing runner runner or 2 outs on the river. Have seen many dominated hands come up roses while holding shit kickers and calling off the stack. Usually in favor of the bigger stack. Its probably all good. My mind doesn't focus on when the hands play out as probability would suggest only when it doesn't.

What is different about this website is rake and fee's. They say they will take 4% from the cash games. I don't play cash but watched a few hands. Saw no rake being taken. So far there is no entry fee applied to the tournaments either. But the white paper says they will be using fee's and rake for revenue. I guess is just a matter of time. So if looking for a good deal playing online right now. This is discount poker about as good as it gets. Won't last forever I imagine.
