SPU Poetry Contest #1: Lost Eyes
Eyes lost on the horizon,
A look at everything that I lived,
Many times I was wrong,
I lied, I resisted and I also learned,
If only I had a match lit,
To light me in this loneliness,
And view where I am now,
On a way touching the sky and flying kites,
Or on a path of badness,
where they want to kill me,
But there is always the opportunity,
The Hope to start again.

Inspired in the Poetry Quote 2
if I only had a match to light
and see where I am now
wrong side of heaven
or righteous
depth of
hell?
U are a good poet..... Post more,we love it

Oh, it's beautiful!
thanks
By the end, I could see a match, lit, the source of hope - even though there is the sense of being lost. Nice inspiration from the prompt :)
Poema muy penetrante hermano, muy bueno tu trabajo . Saludos

I only I had a match to light...
Loneliness will take a trip to hell
Buried in the horror of the deep
Never a victory, always a vanquish
You are a great poet!
