The Myth of Mary Jane

There was once a tale about a sheep
That appears only when the town's asleep
As the crescent moon arise,
Be prepared for the cries.

White as the smoke coming out of a tipi
Mary Jane's mane is a cotton, so fluffy.
But be wary, beware!
Ne'er seek it, ne'er care.

With one eye, red as an apple
Instead of hooves, claws made to grapple
She snares her unaware prey
like fishing in the blue bay.

On your yard, release a mouse,
Oh! But ne'er leave your house.
Once you do, one you did.
MJ will aim at you, even if you hid.
