The Pink Flower (Entry 2 into Poetry Dice 3000)
I've been inspired twice by this weeks Poetry Dice 3000 competition...
The Pink Flower
There was once a pink flower,
Locked away in a tower
20 years in the shadows of dark.
Till an arrow arrived with a spark
And lit the flowers beauty all around,
The answer to a prayer it found.
From everywhere people came
On foot, cars, buses, even a plane!
By moon, by day, the flower had fame.
