SteemitPoetryContest #16 - Tree

I wrote this poem for a poetry contest held by @terrycraft titled Steemit Poetry Contest # 16 + Winners of # 15 !. I imagine that people are like trees that grow from seeds and slowly enlarge to dense and give meaning to life.

Tree

we are a tree
growing on wet soil
sowing at dawn and
drowsily in the city bus

every morning we spread in all directions,
to the limit of the sky

we are a tree
with dried leaves
every afternoon and back up straight
when morning comes

every afternoon we pull leaves
and twigs buds like umbrellas

we are a tree
lindap in the wind, drenched in rain and
continue to grow with roots
that nail the ground.
