The poem below will serve as my entry to contest #15.

The theme for this contest is, "Night".

• The rhyme scheme is A-A-B-B.
• Each quatrain has a pair of internal rhymes.
• Each line contains alliteration.
• Final quatrain adds in the use of homophones.

>> Night's Forever-Hour <<

Alas, a dreary dire night looms in
casting a frightenly focused light on man's sin.
Twas a wondrous woe that separated the ages
beyond a warlike wrath which dominated o'er all rages.

Legend foretold thy dynamic dusk of emotion's rapture
and sought thou mechanised master after potions promising immortality's capture.
Hath thee finally forgotten yonder olde days
whence thine original ordinence writ o'er mislead cold ways?

Nay. . . our sunlit sky withholds the shine of paradise.
Thee forever-hour leads Leviathan down a bloodline of vice.
'Til due, a dasterdly debt doth conceal the revelation
o' morn's dew unbounded upon e'ry seal of a nation.
