A mirage - Original poem

"The lamp of the body is the eye; therefore, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. So if the light in you is darkness, how great will the darkness be!"

Matthew 6:22-23

A mirage

There are many eyes
into our darkness.
Let heaven solve us
is a crime that has a tail,
a hell of a glory costume
bringing back a monster
with long teeth.
Look at yourself with kindness and you will see,
that moment that touches
magic with the calm of a color,
It's so ephemeral.
as the astonishment of finding him,
waiting for us.
And yet we concentrate on the flower
of a dying sun,
hiding his pain
in the shadows, without seeing the light:
the greatness of nature,
the arch of will,
the embrace of omnipresence.
There are many eyes
into our darkness,
lights that strip us
and focus on the ego as the false prophet
that loses us by the ways
of loneliness and sadness.
Life shines here, now;
sunk in the darkness of the false
we'll never see the real light,
we'll just be monsters rolling around
in a mirage, a sinister oasis.
