Quite the perspective. Good statement on how the 1%ers increase their stake at the expense of those who get put on the street. The freedom is enviable.

Westminster folks can make it happen and then complain when the result end up in their front yard rather than someone else's

As an ex-and-soon-to-be-again 1%er, I don't think we can blame arbitrary percentages. We have the 99% who gladly sell their futures short for an extra days worth of comfort.
I think it is just a human problem. We refuse to look at or critique the systems we use, and anyone that falls out of line, we use victim blaming to restore our world views towards "just & fair".
We use bad systems which fail to account for human biases, and falsely believe these systems are set in stone.

This is true. Humans do suck.

Maybe. I've been experimenting with writing poems exploring issues from the other perspective. I like exploring the concept of "other" within the human mind.
