Narrative Poetry: The Young Adventurer and His Merry Band
[Narrative Poetry] titled, "The Young Adventurer and His Merry Band"
"I'll be famous!" he screamed.
So the adventurer took his father's sword,
then leave the house without a word.
joined a band of merry men.
To battle they go hand in hand,
brandishing swords, spears and wands
his name and fame grew bigger.
To his dream he grew nearer,
if only the dragon's less angrier.
To run, to escape on the double.
"What's with this dragon?!"he grumbled.
It's either escape, or be turned to rubble.
their hearts beating in haste.
The young adventurer feel lucky,
they'll be dead if the dragon's not wacky.
"You don't say?" one replied inside the wagon.
Everyone simply guffawed lightheartedly,
and continued their adventures wholeheartedly.
