Everyone is a King
Everyone is a King
but not good at study.
yet forced to school,
by his own daddy.
He can’t even remember,
that 44 was his roll number.
Labelled a back-bencher,
he used to enjoy his slumber.
Yet he put his best
and took the test,
but he was very sad,
as he knew that,
he did it very bad.
he won’t make the cut,
all day & night, he thought,
how he will face the worst
The day came,
with blame & shame.
When results were out,
he was singled out.
“Roll No. 44!
You scored 34.
Get out of the door!
See me no more!”
With a heavy heart,
He thought & thought,
Life is just in numbers.
Without the enough numbers,
You’re a dead vine of cucumber.
Numbers make you a hero,
Numbers make you a zero.
Numbers make them happy,
Numbers make them unhappy.
Dejected & depressed,
despite putting his best,
Numbers still eluded,
portending everything dreaded.
“Yes I’m a duffer,
I always score a cipher.
Does that mean
I should always suffer?”
Everywhere he felt unwanted,
he found himself stranded.
What should he do now?
He was confused & undecided.
“I don’t wanna die,
lemme survive”, he tweeted.
Over the Facebook
and Steemit, he shared.
His voice was instantly heard.
Help flowed in like a flood
Didn’t know of its easy accessibility,
A lovely Voice of Steemit community.
So willing & accommodating,
it soon became his darling.
Life beyond all numbers was amazing,
realizing this truth he became his own king.
