Please let my day be beautiful

The way pain happened
has little to do with how we feel.

My belief that something happened differently
than an-others memory of it

has no true impact until the feelings
of that experience - has shifted.

For until the one who has been hurt –
can look at it with eyes of compassion,

there will never be any other memory of it –
other than the remembered pain.

So - Let my day and way be one that feels
beautiful to me - and for those around me.
