Flickering path
With blinkers on I tracked a glimmer of light it burned so bright I loved that light. Then out it went candle in the wind style a real blaze of glory type story. Till it reached its usual anti climatic peak, like kaput done for gone destroyed out it went I had no ploy. Ahoy there! I see another glimmer of light in sight. Now no longer blind by outer sight once bright light I finally see I have my sight. Hone in on my target with zest an zing I zone on in this amazing pretty little thing. I hear them sing these sirens to me not yet fixed I follow with glee. I have nor chains or shackles upon me, no longer bound on path I'm free. Been like water still in pond without breeze, now moving like hurricane seas new path provided without contempt I follow with ease.
