Of roses and rain and music
Light thunderstorms and streaks of lightning
Barefooted beach walks
Rolled jeans and endless waves
What do you think?
Of white frills and black tuxedos
Little girls with lots of flowers
A priest and a bright congregation
A kiss, a toast and cutting of a cake
What do you think?
Of tangled sheets and closed curtains
Dim lighting and sweaty bodies
Hardened nubs and flaccid staffs
A roll in the hay, and another round

Of shrill screams and scattered toys
Endless milk and smelly bums
Lullabies and tired arms
Dead in bed and another day gone

Of broken dishes and picture frames
Accusations and harsh words
Tears and weapons of tears
