☆☆☆ A Bed in a Field
I once knew of a place to sleep
In a bed in the midst of a field
And as I dreamt and took a leap
My heart, my soul I would yield
To the wind and its sound
As I lay unbound
Like a feather, quite freely and found
You walking amongst the golden grain
Your hands caressed by the bushel of hair
Not knowing your name
Yet all the same
I wanted this moment to share
With you as the sun spread its arms and touched your face
Quite contented we were, filled with joy and grace
