A Dot That's Fading...

Sometimes, I feel like crying
My then buried emotions came flying
Hitting me from different directions
Leaving me without any options

Feelings that are difficult to decipher
A strong heart that doesn't waver
Who would win this battle, I wonder
It's something that has gone on forever

What does my existence mean to you?
Do you only need me when you're feeling blue?
I hope not, because it would hurt a lot
Though I know from the start, I'm just a dot

A tiny dot that can be neglected
A dot whose feelings can be rejected
A minute entity in your enormous life
A dot who has been in serious strife

Sometimes I wonder, where did I get such power
The power to tolerate a humongous tower
The power to persevere in any weather
Hoping that someday, we'd be together

But, in all honesty, I'm afraid to say
This dot's power would run out someday
The tick tocking of the clock is slowly fading
Spirited away, there goes our happy ending.
