Dirty Angel [Original Poetry]
Dirty Angel
I'd like to pray
to them
and never ask
Why have you forsaken me?
They're my peace
of this world
where dreams
are the stuff of life
and everything else
is just details
You can be my dirty angel
and I'll shower you
in substances, slang, and euphemism
just until everything is
ok again
Until there's nothing dark
only a weakness for
smiles
and
pleasant philosophy
everyone understands just what
You're saying
even when you're not too sure
Yeah they understand that too.

If the devil is in the details the dirty angel is in the dreams. I like the way the image works with the poem, it took my imagination of the dirty angel in another direction - if you know what I am saying (I am not too sure)
