Thank you! I use a general 3D modeling program, mine is called Modo. I've created my own recipes for making art. The 3D program gives me the ingredients, and then I "bake" them in Photoshop. By that I mean that I render a number of different types of "passes" out of Modo, and then use Photoshop to arrange, color and control certain effects in order to arrive at my finished art. I like to share my processes, so thanks for expressing interest in this image. I'll pull out the file I used and make some screenshots, and I'll let you know when I post it.
