Oruku tindi tindi, the sound of the African gong.
Oruku tindi tindi, the town crier announce.
Oruku tindi tindi, our attention is needed.
Oruku tindi tindi, the men should come forth.
Oruku tindi tindi, what of the women.
Oruku tindi tindi, this is Africa.
Oruku tindi tindi, who is an African woman.
Oruku tindi tindi, she is that submissive woman.
Oruku tindi tindi, can she come forward.
Oruku tindi tindi, let her come.
Oruku tindi tindi, it a new dawn.
Oruku tindi tindi, let be one.
Oruku tindi tindi, let's know our place.
Oruku tindi tindi, let's live in peace.
Oruku tindi tindi, let's live in love.
Oruku tindi tindi, the town crier announce.

ABOUT THE POEM

Oruku tindi tindi, is one of the sounds produced by the gankeke gong, it is used by the King delegates to address the subject. The gankeke gong can be traced to the Benin cultural group, a tribe to reckoned with in West Africa, before it usage became adopted In most part of Africa. It is made from metal, and to make a sound the gong is struck with a wooden stick.

I may not be African but I know women can save this world and therefore Africa can do nothing but good by empowering their women. All countries need to bring back the sacred feminine and the value of women.

A very nice post, I liked the poem, and nice photo selection, to avoid any possible photo issues, you should when able put a source to where the image came from, this will avoid the plagiarism police but will also give recognition to the person that took the picture.
