Hello World
it's bright out side
the wind is yet to come; just quiet whispers among trees
they talk about the new day with uncertainty
and the much older ones sit still, they know, they know
how long to wait and just when to sing
they're masters now... been around so long
everyone is waiting, rumors came yesterday with a smoky band
they came bearing stories; snippets of the songs to be sang;
above is all grey now, they know they know,
not a signal of darkness but a beacon of hope
life is about to become better
hello world, you can hear the music above the smoke
they always seem to be moving, but they are never gone.
a few intermissions just to tease and make you want more
they never run out of songs; out of love
it's bright outside
and its getting darker with hope
