কত খেলায় কেটেছিল আমার ছেলেবেলা
মা আমার বলল,চুপটি করে বস দেখিনি
ঐ বিকাল বেলা
নারকেল পাতায় বানিয়ে দিব
কত রকম খেলনা।
আমি শুধু নিবিড়ভাবে তাকিয়ে দেখি
কত মালা, চশমা, ঘড়ি,
আর বানিয়ে দিল
আংটি, বালা, কানের দুল,
মা আমায় পড়িয়ে দিল
দুলে উঠল, আমার মনের ছোট্ট ফুটন্ত ফুল।
খেলা করতে গিয়ে
সব যে গেল ছিড়ে
হঠাৎ যেন মনে হল
আমি হারিয়ে গেছি কোন ভীড়ে।
মা বলল,বাছারে তুই কাঁদিস না
আমি দেব নতুন করে আবার বানিয়ে,
ছোট্ট মনটি আমার ভেঙে গেল যে
তুই দিবি-রে মা?
মন আমার জোড়া লাগিয়ে।
