Exhausted, she rests on the branches of a birch.
The white dove lies so
like a statue without thoughts or fears.
Pale and remains as a specter of the distant past
she does not realize that behind her
a huge crow perches
who begins to squawk like an angry demon.

The dove turns around
and look into the eyes of the black bird
which in a vertiginous movement
like a snake when attacking
It fits the peak in the chest
and drills it to the heart.
The crow tore it out vehemently
like a horrid beast
dreamed within the deepest horrors
of a mind weakened and enchanted by fear
that rips the soul from its dreamer;
it devours the heart of the dove like a pulsating fruit.

The dove is collapsing heavily
on the sterile and gray floor,
falling on it like a ghost
of the days that will never come back.

The crow flees from the scene,
it is the demon expelled from the Garden of Eden.
The white dove, with a hole in the chest
from which her blood now escapes so black
contaminated by the crow,
it looks like the image of the ink spilled on the paper.

The white bird suddenly rises like a Bennu
ignited in dark flames.
She arise in a new flight
With wings now dark as a moonless night.
And it is that with time,
even a white dove manages to become in a crow.

Bennu is the name of the egyptian phoenix. The Bennu is associated to the death, the renovation and to the sun.
